Starting CET Tool

 Start CET tool
 Create a new
project
 And open it

CET for SPA-ZC 40x Engineering

Create new project and import .ar file

 Right click the project name
 Create a new SPA-ZC v2 and a new feeder IED
 Select the correct settings for “Object Properties”
in LD1 level. Correct relay type/version etc.
 In case you are not using Disturbance Recording
upload function disable it.
 Import the .ar file

Import .ar file

 Select the correct .ar file
 The following functions are not
imported automatically. You have
to create them by hand.
 Imported structure look like this.
 Rename SPAZC40x according to
bay/relay name

Object properties for SPA-ZC level

 Change the settings needed in SPA-ZC level, IP address, SNTP Server, Time Zone
 Default Gateway; in case all of your hardware is connected to one network the default gateway
address does not matter. Recommendation is to use the first address of the IP address range. If
you have separate networks use the address of the computer which is the link between networks.
 If you have GPS with SNTP Server functionality you are able to use synchronization
directly from GPS to SPA-ZC.

Bay local/Remote switch

 IEC61850 standard defines bay local remote switch to be single indication. The relays
from FIABB are sending out three different L/R switch states. To receive all them you need
to change the type the of DO “Loc” to DPS.
 Delete the SPS type of DO
 Start DO Wizard to create a new one.

Bay local/Remote switch

 Create data object by type DPS
 Give the address information as right side.
Found from the “Event list” manual of the
relay.

Data sets
 To enable spontaneous data transfer the signal
needs to be included in some of the data sets.
 Open LD0/LLN0/
StatUrg  Trip signals
StatNrml  Positions
MeasFlt  Measurements
 Drag and dropp signals from LD1 to there

Additional signals
 It is recommended to use the Logical Node called GGIO for all the signals created by
hand.
 More information about LNs is found from IEC61850 standard 7-4.
 More information about DOs (Data Objects) and DAs (Data Attributes) is found from
IEC61850 standard 7-3.

Additional signals, Single indication

 If there are some functions, not supported by IEC61850 standard, used in relay
configuration you have to create them manually to SPA-ZC configuration.
 In the following example there are some single indication signals created. The status of
Binary output is read directly.

Additional signals
 Signals needs to be added to
some data set to be reported
to upper level system.

Downloading configuration
 Target IP is the IP address of the SPA-ZC at the moment.
 Default IP address of SPA-ZC40x: 192.168.2.10
 A new IP is in Object Properties tab on a right side. Each SPA-ZC must have unique
IP.
