 E- nam is a online trading platform for
agricultural commodities in india.
 Founded on 14th April 2016
 It was launched by ministry of agriculture government of india

 Electronic National Agriculture market is a pan india


electronic trading portal which networks the existing APMC
mandis to create a unified national market for agricultural
commodities

 eNAM portal provides a single window service for all APMC


related information and services to its stakeholders i.e
farmers,traders,buyers,processers and exports
BUDGET
 Its total budgetary outlay for integration of 1000 enam
mandis since inception is Rs 1171,93 Cr
 Total 1000 mandis of 401 districts are utilizing e
platform across 18 states and 3 Uts.

OBJECTIVES
 A national emarket platform for transparent sale
transactions and price discovery in several markets
 One licence for a trader valid across all markets in the
state
 Single point levy of market fees,i.e on the whole sale
purchase from the farmer.

AGRICULTURE MARKETING
INFRASTRUCTURE
The Agricultural Marketing Infrastructure (AMI) sub-scheme of
Integrated Scheme for Agricultural Marketing (ISAM),
implemented by the Ministry of Agriculture and Farmer’ Welfare,
Government of India.

Budget Allocation
The overall budgetary allocation is Rs. 4000 Crores.

Time Period
The time period is from 1-04-2001 to till date.

Beneficiaries
Farmers, Individuals, group of farmers/growers, FPOs/ FPC,
Companies, Cooperative Marketing Federations, Autonomous bodies
of the Government, Local bodies, Panchayats, State agencies etc.
OBJECTIVES
 To develop Agricultural Marketing Infrastructure including storage
infrastructure in Agriculture and allied sector.

 To promote innovative and largest technologies in post-harvest and


agricultural marketing infrastructure.

 Major objectives of the scheme includes to promote creation of


agricultural marketing infrastructure by providing backened subsidy
support to farmers, states, cooperatives and private sector investment
and to promote creation of storage capacity in rural areas in order to
avoid distress sale and to increase farmers income.

 AMI is demand driven, credit linked, back ended subsidity scheme


wherein subsidy support @ 25% and 33.33% available to beneficiaries
is routed through NABARD, NCDC and DMI/ DAC and FW.
APPLICATIONS RECEIVED AND
STORAGE INFRASTRUCTURE ASSISTED
UNDER AMI
 Since 01.04.2001 and up to 30.09.2021 a total of 40,985
storage projects (godowns), with storage capacity of
708.67 lakh MT

 AMI sub-scheme in the country which includes 3669


projects in Maharastra 1183 projects in Uttar Pradesh.
RURAL GODOWN SCHEME (RGS) OR
GRAMIN BHANDARAN YOJANA
 Small farmers do not have economic strength to retain
produce with them till the market prices are favourable.
 A network of rural godowns will enable small farmers to
enhance their holding capacity in order to sell their
produce at remunerative prices and avoid distress sales.
 Government of India has launched ‘Grameen Bhandaran
Yojana’ w.e.f. 01.04.2001
 Implementation of the scheme shall be continued upto
31.03.2014.
OBJECTIVE OF THE SCHEME
 Creation of scientific storage capacity with allied
facilities in rural areas to meet out various requirements
of farmers for storing farm produce, processed farm
produce, agricultural inputs, etc.,
 prevention of distress sale by creating the facility of
pledge loan and marketing credit.
SALIENT FEATURES
 Eligible Organizations-The project for construction of
rural godowns can be taken up by individuals, farmers,
Group of farmers/growers, Partnership/ Proprietary
firms, Non-Government Organizations (NGO’s), Self
Help Groups (SHGs), Companies, Corporations, Co-
operatives etc.
 Location- Under the scheme, the entrepreneur will be
free to construct godown at any place, as per his/her
commercial judgment except for the restriction that it
would be outside the limits of Municipal Corporation
area.
 Size- Minimum capacity of 100 tonnes and maximum
capacity of 30,000 tonnes. No maximum ceiling on
subsidy in the case of projects of rural godowns of
Cooperatives assisted by NCDC.
 Subsidy-33.33% of the capital cost of the project in case
of projects located in North – Eastern States, Sikkim and
hilly areas subject to a maximum ceiling on subsidy of
Rs.3.333 crore.Rs
 3 crore for those belonging to Women Farmers/ their
self help groups / co-operatives and SC/ST entrepreneurs
& their self-help groups/ Co-operatives. No maximum
ceiling on subsidy in the case of cooperatives assisted by
NCDC.
 25% of the capital cost of the project to all categories of
farmers (Other than Women Farmers) to a maximum
ceiling on subsidy of Rs. 2.25 crore. No maximum
ceiling on subsidy in the case of cooperatives assisted by
NCDC.
 15% of the capital cost of the project to all other
categories of individuals, companies & corporations etc.,
subject to a maximum ceiling on subsidy of Rs. 1.35
crore
 25% of the capital cost of the project for renovation of
godowns of cooperatives with assistance from NCDC.

The Government of India has approved the
proposal of the Department of Agriculture and
cooperation for the continuation and integration of
non-going Central sector Scheme as Integrated
Scheme for Agricultural Marketing (ISAM).

agriculture marketing sector.
 Provide market linkage to farmers.
