Teenage Pregnancy

The victims of teenage pregnancy are the girl herself,

her child, her parents and relatives and the national

economically vulnerable.
In fact, among the countries in South East
Asia, the Philippines ranked the highest rate
in teenage pregnancy.

In 2010
live births by teenage mothers registered with the NSO
were 201, 898, compared with 126,025 in 2000.
UNPFA 2011 report
53 births per 1,000 women aged between 13 and 19
2014 PSA report
reveals that 24 babies are delivered by teenage mothers
every hour.
2014 Young Adult Fertility and Sexuality (YAFS) study
