Pupils can develop the claims of topic
sentences by explaining and expanding all
the individual parts.
This helps the students to elaborate about
one major idea in each paragraph in many
sentences.
Step 4 : Analyse the Evidence
Pupils can connect their evidence to the
main ideas the paragraph seeks to prove.
This helps the students to give a
counterargument.
Step 6 : Provide a Transition
Pupils can make a smooth transition and
strong and clear connection between two
ideas.
This helps them to create a body paragraph
with one key idea which supported by relevant
examples and evidence.
