 OBJECTIVES
• Designing a solar power generation system that can
efficiently generate electricity from sunlight.
• Developing a wireless power transfer mechanism that can
effectively transfer power from the charging station to the
electric vehicle without the need for physical connections.
• Integrating the solar power generation system and wireless
power transfer mechanism into an electric vehicle charging
station.
• Evaluating the feasibility and effectiveness of the solar-
based wireless charging station in terms of efficiency,
reliability, and cost-effectiveness.

 CIRCUIT DIAGRAM
 WORKING
• When the car is entered into the parking are ap1,then the IR sensor in
parking area p1 is activated. It sends signal to the Arduino to charge
the vehicle at parking area p1. The Arduino will send the signal to
activate the transmitter coil, which is at parking p1 and starts
charging.
• Initially the display shows the Wireless EV charging station and
display“WaitingforEV-1vehicle”and also for 3vehicles are in waiting
position.
• As the vehicle is enters into parking area p1, then display shows the
“EV-1 charging started” next with that voltage, current, power and
capacity are displayed .The parameters are measure din receiver coil
when vehicle is charging. The parameters from the EV1 vehicle
while charging is recorded.
• Although when an other vehicle is enters in to parking area
p2,then the IR sensor at parking p2 is going to activate and
its starts charging as same as like p1.And the voltage rating
the LCD display with help of current sensor and Arduino is
displayed. The LCD will display “EV-2 charging started”.
And the vehicle starts charging.
• The parking area of the station is empty and no vehicle is
parked yet, then the display shows the “waiting for EV-1
vehicle”.
• It displays by using Arduino with background code.
• Then if vehicle in parking area p1 is fully charged, then the
LCD display will shows the p1 vehicle is fully charged. The
parking area p1 circuit is disconnected from the supply by
the resistive type relay.
 COMPONENTS REQUIRED
• 10Watt Solar panel
• 12v 7amp Battery
• 16*2 LCD Display
• Relay Module
• Primary Winding
• Secondary Winding
SOLAR PANEL
• The 12v 10 W mini solar panel
has polycrystalline solar cells
which are encased and protected
by adorable outer poly
frame .This 3 v 150 mA mini
solar panel for DIY projects is
light weighted, very strong and
weather resistant substrates or
injection molded trays custom
designed for the target product.
12V BATTERY
 Battery is secondary cell .A 12
volt battery is an irregular battery
used in specific electronic
application applications. Of all
the types of batteries the 12 volt
battery is one that looks very
different depending on its use. In
some ways it is one of the most
diverse of all batteries. It can be
large or small heavy or light. In
some cases they may look nearly
like regular AA batteries.
LCD DISPLAY
• There are many display devices
used by the hobbyists. LCD
displays are one of the most
sophisticated display devices used
by them. Once you learn how to
interface it, it will be the easiest
and very reliable output device
used by you! More, for micro
controller based project, not every
time any debugger can be used.
So LCD displays can be used to
test the outputs.
BUZZER
• A buzzer or beeper is an audio
signaling device, which may be
mechanical, electromechanical, or
piezoelectric. Typical uses of
buzzers and beepers include
alarm devices, timers and
confirmation of user input such as
a mouse click or key stroke.
CONNECTING WIRES
• A connecting wire allows travels
the electric current from one point
to another point without
resistivity. Resistances of
connecting wires should always
be near zero. Copper(cu)wires
have low resistances and are
therefore suitable for low
resistances.
COILS
• Electromagnetic induction is the
method of transmitting energy
through an electromagnetic field.
It operates on the idea that
moving a conductor through a
magnetic field can produce an
electric current in that conductor
(in this example, the receiving
coil) (created by the charging
pad). When an electric car is
parked or moving over a charging
plate or pad and its reception coil
is lined up with the coils on the
plate, the charging process may
start.
 APPLICATIONS
• Public charging infrastructure
• Residential charging
• Fleet charging
• Reduce carbon emissions
• Help to mitigate the effects of climate change
• Lightweight vehicle.
 ADVANTAGES
• Sustainability
• Convenience
• Cost savings
• Convenience and Ease of Use
• Enhanced Safety
• Future-Proof Technology
 DISADVANTAGES
• Initial cost High
• Weather dependency
• Lower Efficiency
• Slower Charging Speeds
• Limited Range and Alignment Requirements
 FUTURE SCOPE
• Advanced technology integration: Continued
advancements in solar power generation and wireless
power transfer technologies can further improve the
efficiency and effectiveness of the charging station.
• Standardization and interoperability: Developing
industry standards for wireless power transfer can
ensure compatibility between different electric
vehicle models and charging stations.
• Grid integration: Further integration with smart grid
systems can optimize energy management, enabling the
charging station to draw electricity from the grid during
periods of low solar generation and feed excess electricity
back into the grid.
• Scalability: As the adoption of electric vehicles increases,
there will be a greater need for charging infrastructure.
The solar-based wireless charging station can be scaled
up to support a larger number of vehicles.
