Study Design and Population Test, Comparison and Outcome Appraisal
Randomized Controlled Trial
1,099 patients with Acute
Ischemic Stroke, NIHSS 6-14 were
first randomized and added
Inclusion Criteria of baseline
NIHSS 8-14 at onset and at least
mRS > 2 at discharge or Day 10 Comparable population
post-stroke to month 24 yielding Complete follow-up
548 patients.

All patients received Anti-thrombotic


and appropriate Rehab

Double Blind

Time to Functional Recovery is shortened
