Objectives:
 Identify tools and equipment needed
in preparing/cooking meat.

 Classify the tools and equipment in


cooking meat.
 Analyze the importance of
kitchen
tools/utensils in everyday
cooking.
Demonstrate the uses of the
different kitchen tools.
The success of preparing and
cooking meat dishes partly
depends on the proper selection
and use of kitchen utensils, tools
and equipment.
They should always be keep in good
condition, and it is important to
clean them properly after using to
prolong their use and to avoid cross
contamination.This will make ones
cooking easier, faster and enjoyable.

GROUP ACTIVITY:
The teacher will divide the class into two (2)
groups. Each group will present a demonstration
on how to properly use the kitchen tools and
utensils and give its importance in everyday
cooking for five (5) minutes. Each group is given
five (5) minutes to prepare.
Criteria for Grading:
Accuracy – 50 %
Application of steps/ procedure – 20%
Cleanliness and orderliness – 10 %
Time management – 10%
Teamwork – 10%
