PROJECT SCOPE STATEMENT

1.Product Scope Description: The General Hospital construction project aims to create a modern,
state-of-the-art hospital facility that can provide high-quality medical care to the local community.
The hospital will have the capacity to accommodate 200 patients and will offer a wide range of
medical services, including emergency care, outpatient services, and inpatient care.

2. Product Acceptance Criteria: The hospital will be accepted as complete when it meets the
following requirements:
• All construction work is finished and the facility is fully operational
• The hospital is equipped with all necessary medical equipment and supplies
• All required licenses and permits are obtained from regulatory bodies
• The hospital meets all applicable safety and environmental regulations

4. Project Exclusions: The following work is not included in the project and is outside of the
scope:
• Acquisition of land for the hospital
• Staff hiring and training
• Ongoing maintenance and operations of the hospital after construction is complete

5. Project Constraints: The project is subject to the following limits on resources:


• Time: The hospital must be completed within 24 months
• Money: The total budget for the project is $50 million
• Manpower: The project team will have a maximum of 100 members
• Equipment: The project will utilize only approved medical equipment

6. Project Assumptions: The following assumptions are being made by the project team and
stakeholders:
