DIVERSITY

BY:VENKATESH,ASMA,NAYONIKA,NAHLA.
IMPORTANCE OF DIVERSITY IN
SCHOOLS
• Young people who learn about diversity often feel safer and more
comfortable with cultural difference later in life. This helps them to
interact positively with a wide range of social groups.
• Diversity among students in schools directly impacts their
performance. Studies show that students work better in a diverse
environment, enabling them to concentrate and push themselves
further when there are people of other backgrounds working
alongside them. This promotes creativity, as well as better education,
as those with differing viewpoints can collaborate to create solutions.
Continuation
• Students who learn about different cultures during their education
feel more comfortable and feel safe with these differences later in life.
This allows them to interact with a social groups and feel more confident
in themselves as well as in their interactions with others.
IMPORTANCE OF DIVERSITY IN THE
SOCIETY AT LARGE
• Diversity enhances creativity. It encourages the search for novel
information and perspectives, leading to better decision making and
problem solving. Diversity can improve the bottom line of companies
and lead to uncontrolled discoveries and breakthrough innovations.
• A diverse environment has multiple benefits for personal
development. Outside of becoming accepting and more aware of
other cultures, it can help smash previously held stereotypes.
Diversity and inclusion multiply productivity as the ability to learn and
grow from each other is exponentially expanded.
EDUCATION AND HOW IT IMPACTS
THE SOCIETY
• WHAT IS EDUCATION?
The act of teaching knowledge to others and the act of receiving
knowledge from someone else.
• HOW DOES EDUCATION IMPACT THE SOCIETY?
• It helps people become better citizens, get a better-paid job, shows
the difference between good and bad. Education shows us the
importance of hard work and, at the same time, helps us grow and
develop. Thus, we can shape a better society to live in by knowing
and respecting rights, laws, and regulations.
Continuation
• One of the benefits of education is that the educational
system teaches us how to obtain and develop critical and
logical thinking and make independent decisions. When
children become adults, they are faced with a lot of
challenging issues – pay off your student loans, get a job,
buy a car and a house, provide for your family, etc.
However, if one has spent years educating themselves,
they should be able to make sound decisions on these
various choices.
• People with good academic and educational
backgrounds tend to get well-paid jobs. The higher their
education and accomplishments, the better employment
options they get. People who grew up poor but educated
themselves have high chances to transform their lives,
thus contributing to a decrease in society’s poverty rates.
