In Chile
Rapa Nui Tepati Festival
With painted bodies they are works of art in motion on Easter Island; Every
February a queen is chosen after sports, artistic and traditional culture
competitions.
Semana Valdiviana
In the south of Chile, in February the founding of the city of Valdivia is
celebrated. Dozens of boats give life to a river parade, the ships compete for a
prize. Presentations, gastronomy and beer are enjoyed.
Harvest Festivals
The prestigious Chilean wine is celebrated in the city of Curico, it begins with a
religious ceremony, then a grape harvest and a queen is chosen who is
weighed with bottles of wine.
Culture Festivals
It is celebrated in April throughout the country, it is called Chile+Culture. With
activities throughout the country bringing culture closer to the people and
opening spaces for the dissemination of artists' works. Musicians, poets,

Indigenous New Year
For the people, their calendar is different, because they use their own
ancestral calendar. For them the new year begins with the winter solstice
