Design
The designers of food and beverage facilities must keep the
perspectives of both guests and the owners in mind. Such elements
as noise, lighting, color coordination, and the use of space must also
be given careful consideration. Designers must be aware of
government safety regulations pertaining to such emergency
lighting, emergency exits, and the maximum number of occupants
that public areas may accommodate.
Design also affects service. In a dining area that is laid out properly,
service staff members are able to do their work efficiently and guests
feel comfortable. The proper design can even help assure guests that
they have chosen the right place to dine. One factor that experienced
designers take into account is that dining areas should usually appear
comfortably full, few things are worse than having just or so guests
dining in a large open dining room designed for 200 people. In this
situation, the nearly empty appearance may cause guests to wonder
if choosing this restaurant was a wise decision.

Cleaning
Restaurant Cleaning is the process of cleaning a restaurant with
the purpose to make it free of dust, dirt, allergens, harmful
bacteria, viruses, and anything else that may cause infection or
contribute to the spread of diseases.
The importance of cleanliness in restaurants is essential because
having a safe, neat, and clean environment in a restaurant can help
you gain the trust of customers. Messy and disorganized things
can get the positive energy of your restaurant down.
Therefore, cleaning and sanitizing in food businesses is necessary
to maintain proper hygiene in your restaurant and kitchen areas for
the success of the restaurant business
Besides the regular cleaning of restaurant floors, furniture, desks,
bathroom/toilets, kitchens, etc., which can be performed on a daily
basis, it is also crucial to occasionally disinfect and/or sanitize the
place, kitchen surfaces and utensils in order to eliminate sticky
bacteria, viruses, etc. and to ensure complete safety of the
restaurant staff and customers.
