 Conclusion
 In computing, an input device is a piece
of computer hardware equipment used to
provide data and control signals to an
information processing system such as
a computer or information appliance.
Examples of input devices include keyboards,
mouse, scanners, digital cameras, joysticks,
and microphones.

Desktop computer keyboards, such as the
101-key US traditional keyboards or the
104-key Windows keyboards, include
alphabetic characters, punctuation
symbols, numbers and a variety of function
keys.
 A mouse is a device that controls the movement
of the cursor or pointer on a display screen.
A mouse is a small object you can roll along a
hard, flat surface. ... As you move the mouse, the
pointer on the display screen moves in the same
direction.
 There are three types of mouse: Trackball mouse,
Optical mouse and wireless optical mouse.
Trackball mouse are old technology mouse that
has mechanical movement of ball inside. That ball
moves along the movement of mouse.

 A monitor is an electronic visual computer
display that includes a screen, circuitry and
the case in which that circuitry is enclosed.
Older computer monitors made use of
cathode ray tubes (CRT), which made them
large, heavy and inefficient. ... A monitor is
also known as a screen or a visual display
unit (VDU
 CRT (cathode ray tube) monitors.

 LCD (liquid crystal display) monitors.

 LED (light-emitting diodes) Monitors.

 A CRT monitor contains millions of tiny
red, green, and blue phosphor dots that
glow when struck by an electron beam that
travels across the screen to create a
visible image. The illustration below shows
how this works inside a CRT. ... The
anode is positive, so it attracts the
electrons pouring off the cathode.

 CRT monitors are rated for

approximately 25,000 to 30,000 hours of
use. If you use the monitor eight hours a
day, it will take eight to 10 years to
reach 30,000 hours.  Standard VGA resolution is 640×480
pixels. This was pretty much obsolete by
the beginning of the new millennium, when
the commonest CRT monitor resolutions
were SVGA and XGA – 800×600
and 1024×768 pixels respectively.
 The PCI slot is for Graphics cards,
sound cards, wifi cards, and pretty much
anything. Typically you want to put
graphics cards in the PCI slot.
 A liquid
crystal display (LCD) monitor is a
computer monitor or display that
uses LCD technology to show clear
images, and is found mostly in laptop
computers and flat panel monitors. ...
Also, LCD monitors may be made much

pieces of polarized glass (also called
substrate) that contain a liquid
crystal material between them. A backlight
creates light that passes through the first
substrate.  LCD monitors are typically rated for
30,000 to 60,000 hours of use, which
amounts to 10 to 20 years if you run
the monitor eight hours a day.
 Short for light-emitting diode monitor,
an LED monitor or LED display is a flat
screen, flat-panel computer monitor or
television. It has a very short depth and is
light in terms of weight. The actual
difference between this and a typical
LCD monitor is the backlighting.
