The art movements of 19th century to the 20th
century that captures and express their ideas in a
bold and innovative ways.
In modern art every piece reflects change, including
technological, social, scientific, and political
change. Modern art express the impact of the
internet today in a work of art the concept of
“modernism.”
IMPRESSIONISM
Often use short broken strokes.
Subjects were everyday scenes.
Artists of this movement found that
they could best capture scenes with
natural light.
