Topic features About the topic

- Word problems You will learn if you listen well
- Similarity Theorem
01
Word Problems
a mathematical exercise which is in the form of a
hypothetical question that needs mathematical analysis
and equations to be solved.
02
Similarity Theorem
The ratios of two of the corresponding sides of the
triangles are proportional to one another.
Similar Triangles mean two triangles are similar if and only if the
corresponding angles are cogruent and the lengths of the
corresponding sides are proportional.

Problem 2
An airplane is seen going to Surigao City Airport. Use radar to
measure distances.
The plane is at a height of 25 km. The airport is 12 km away. How
far will the plane need to
travel before it lands?
Boardwork
After this slide, we will be calling some
names to do a simple boardwork with one
word problem involving similarity theorems.
