Why CESS??? In Vietnam market

• From 2005 to 2015, electricity tariff increases

nearly 108% (in VND)
• From Dec 2017, the tariff increased 6.08%
and reached a new highest level at 1,720.65
VND/kWh (2)
• In 2019, Vietnam may face power shortage
and power cuts on a large scale (3)
• In 2022: According to EVN's calculation, the
average selling price of electricity is 1,915

What CESS can do for you
SAVING Energy: 6 – 15%, by 3 kinds of Improvements
• Power factor improvement (Electricity)
• Electrical transmission improvement (Electric wire)
• Conversion efficiency improvement (Machinery)

SAFETY
• 100% no voltage drop, no work loss
• Safety certificate in Vietnam (IEC 61000-6-4 by Quatest 3)

HIGHER life span of facilities & HIGHER productivity

LOWER maintenance fee
REDUCE CO2 emission (Green-house Effect)
Structure of CESS

CESS structure has two main parts:

CESS has tens of varistors, typically INR

and TNR, for TVSS (Transient Voltage
Surge Suppression) effect.

Besides, Copper with 99.9% purity and

more than 300 mesh in size and Silica
(SiO2) are inserted between the multiple
varistor sections.
Principles of CESS

Waves (Valence Wave) emitted from the copper and silica compound run
through electrical lines and mitigate collisions among spinning electrons,
reducing joule and heat.

This action also contributes to reduce impedance within conductors, which

leads to improved electrical conductance, reduced electrical resistance, and
mitigated noise and vibrations that come from friction.

With all these effects combined, efficiency and productivity of loads improve
and consumption of real power reduces.
Principles of CESS
1. Improved Wave Shape

2. Improved
Power Factor

3. Maintaining

Workshop of Vietnam MOIT and KOICA
• On January 17th 2019, in Hoi An, CESS International accompanied the Ministry of Industry
and Trade and the World Bank (WB) to organize a workshop "Introduction of Energy
Efficiency Projects for Industrial Enterprises in Vietnam".
• At the workshop, CESS solution was presented briefly in terms of technology and reported
experimental results at An Hoa Paper Factory, Dabaco Animal Feed Factory, within the
framework of the project "Promoting Investment Market for Energy Efficiency in
Industrial Sector in Vietnam”.
