Processing of output
Remember:

- Gender equality means that the rights, responsibilities and opportunities

of individuals will not depend on whether they are male or female,
handicapped or able bodied, young or elderly, white or black, or from
rural or urban settings.

- Gender equality, besides being a fundamental human right, is essential

to achieve peaceful societies, with full human potential and sustainable
development.
Remember:

- There is widespread recognition of the importance of gender norms and

their application to the field of sexual and reproductive health (SRH),
as rigid and traditional gender roles often dictate the terms in which
intimate relations, sexual activity and reproduction take place.

- The health outcomes and utilization of reproductive, maternal, and child

health services amongst women are significantly affected by gender
social norms, decision-making power, roles and responsibility, and
access to resources.
