century and the first woman to
hold the position. As prime
minister, she implemented
economic policies that became
known as Thatcherism.
Karl Marx was a German-born
philosopher, economist, political
theorist, historian, sociologist,
journalist, and revolutionary
socialist. Karl Marx is best known
for his theories that led to the
development of Marxism. His ideas
also served as the basis for
communism .
 Friedrich Engels was a German
philosopher, writer, and social
scientist during the 19th century.
Known for his collaboration with Karl
Marx. Friedrich Engels helped define
modern communism.
 Alienation

This term is used to describe the


separation of people from a particular
community of people.

The alienation could be due to different


norms, values, and social relations. The
people who are alienated society do not
follow the mainstream.
 Class Struggle

According to the ideology of class


struggle, the proletariat class is
responsible to make the democratic
revolution permanent, that is to organize
themselves for a wider struggle to abolish
private property, going beyond its
immediate economic demands for better
wages and working conditions, to strive to
achieve its political ed which is
revolutionary overthrow of capitalism.

A theory that everything can be


explained as being or coming
from matter.

and well-being. materialist.

 Anarchism is a political
philosophy and movement that is
skeptical of all justifications for
authority and seeks to abolish the
institutions it claims maintain
unnecessary coercion and
hierarchy, typically including
nation-states, and capitalism.
 Libetarianism

 Libertarianism is a political stance


generally known as about the idea of
individual liberties, responsibility/self-
ownership and free choice . It says the
government should have less control
over the lives of its citizens and should
let them be responsible for themselves
without the involvement of the
government.
