RESERVOIR POTENTIAL ANALYSIS AND DEPLETION ANALYSIS

Material Balance Evaluation:

• Driving force mechanism started with 14 %
of PV and 31 % of FE.
• As the reservoir pressure declines, the rock
and fluids expand due to their individual
compressibility.
• Rock compressibility causes decreasing of
fluid pressure within the pore spaces and
tends to reduce the pore volume through
the reduction of the porosity.

CONCLUSION
In this study, we get some conclusion as shown below:
1. The driving force mechanism started with the PV and FE about 14 % and 31 %
respectively.
2. As the reservoir pressure declines, the rock and fluids expand.
3. Production rate for this Field declines by the reservoir pressure declining .
4. The reservoir is driven by water drive.
5. In the developing process of this reservoir the main driving mechanism to control
the production would be water drive.
6. Polymer injection have been considered in the development plan in order to give
the higher oil rate and oil recovery.
7. Time management also one of the most important factors which may influence
the producing and developing Waha Field and the right time to inject water and
polymer is very important.
CONCLUSION
In this study, we get some conclusion as shown below:
9. Polymer injection scenario has nearly plateau of 235 bpd and lasts around 10 years.
10. The cumulative oil production after 10 years of production is 53420 M barrels of oil.
11. Polymer injection scenario as the best way to develop further in this Field since its injection
operations would be considerably manageable. 15
