Objectives

Activity: “PICTURE
ANALYSIS”
• Analyze the picture.
• In your opinion, what does the picture
want to emphasize?
HUMAN SECURITY
It deals with what the state can do to protect and provide for its people.
It also recognizes that people everywhere define their own security needs and take action
to stay safe.
To achieve human security, we need to protect our freedom from fear, want, and indignity.
These are the three pillars of human security:
Freedom from Fear: Being protected from war, persecution, or physical harassment.
Freedom from Want: Access to education, jobs, and natural resources.
Freedom from Indignity: Justice and equal right
Working in a society where we feel safe contributes to making it stable and prosperous.
Human security aims to prevent violent conflict and to build sustainable peace.
Activity: Think-Pair-Share
“PICTORIAL DRAWING”
• Directions: Draw an isometric projection of the cube. Then sketch the orthographic
multi-view of the isometric drawing.

• Using calligraphy letters write the three pillars of human security in each view.
• TOP – FREEDOM FROM FEAR
• FRONT – FREEDOM FROM WANT
• SIDE VIEW –FREEDOM FROM INDIGNITY

• On the right lower portion of the drawing paper. Express your thoughts on the
importance of human security using engineering lettering.
Activity: Write-ups!

1.What is the most important thing that you have learned
today?
2.How do these learnings help you become a better
person?
3.How will you apply those learnings/ values in your daily
life at home and/or in your future studies or work?
