Guidelines on the Local

Youth Development
Planning, CBYDP and
ABYIP of the National
Youth Commission

Local Youth Development Plan
- three year strategic youth development plan
- formulated at the P/C/M level
- initially drafted by the respective SK Pederasyon
- finalized by the LYDC
- shall be submitted to the LCE for inclusion in the
Local Development Plan
- anchored in the PYDP
Approving Authority of LYDP
• subsequently endorsed to the Sanggunian of
the Local Government Unit concerned for
approval

Role of LYDO
• Provide technical assistance to the LYDC of the
concerned LGU in the formulation of the LYDP
Local Development Plan
• This refers to the comprehensive multi-
sectoral local government development plan
• Sets the Local Government Vision, Sectoral
Goals, Objectives, Development Strategies and
Policies
• City /Municipal level called CDP (6 years)
• Provincial level called PDPFP (6 years)
