We use either…or… to talk about two things we can
choose from. It means ‘one or the other one’

EXAMPLE:

You can choose either the red car or the blue car.

Either mom or dad will come to pick me up.


NEITHER…

We use neither…nor… to talk about two things. It
means ‘not one and not the other’. (to make negative
statements)
EXAMPLE:

Neither Mr Smith nor Mrs Jones came to the meeting.

I will neither call you nor send you a message before


mid night.
