complex ideas, beliefs, theories, attitudes, and
principles into manageable chunks of
understanding for the audience.

Information that can be derived from informative speeches differ
as based on the following main types of informative speeches:
a. DEFINITION SPEECH – explains the meaning, theory, or philosophy of a
specific topic that the audience likely does not know about.
b. DEMONSTRATION SPEECH – explains how to do something.
c. EXPLANATORY SPEECH – might give a description of the state of a
given topic
