Web publishing agree that the LIST is the
one of the most effective ways to present
information, especially when discussing
several ideas under one topic.
Different list tags
1. Ordered lists – are typically labeled with numbers or letters, and
use the <ol> and </ol> tags.
- It can be used to enumerate a list of items or to outline a set of
instructions or a procedure.
2. Unordered lists – are usually labeled with bullet points and
dashes, and use the <ul> and </ul> tags.
- It is used when items in a list are in no particular order or
importance.
3. Description lists – are for terms and definitions.
- This type of list uses the markup tags <dl> and </dl>.
- <dt> and </dt> - to define terms and names as well as <dd> and
</dd> - to describe terms and names.
Nesting Lists
- It refers to placing a list inside another list.
