Antenatal care (ANC) coverage

Number of pregnant women who received antenatal care

=
Total number of pregnant women x100

177
= x 100
182

=97.25 % of total pregnant women

*Cumilative data from month of April 2023 to February 2014

Post natal care coverage

Number of women and newborns who received postnatal care

=
Total number of women who gave birth X 100

155 X 100
=
158

=98.10 % of total number of women who

gave birth

*Out of 158= 3 were Stillbirth ( 2 female and 1

male)
Low Birth Weight

Number of infants born with low birth weight (< 2500 gms)
= Total number of live births X 100

= 11
155 x 100

= 7.096 % of total number of live

births
Neonatal Mortality Rate

Number of neonatal deaths during a given period (< 28 days) x 1000

=
Number of live births during the same period

= 0/155 x 1000

= 0.0 % per 1000 live births

Infant mortality rate

Number of infant deaths under one year of age

X 1000
= Number of live births

= 0/155 x 1000

= 0.0 % per 1000 live births

Maternal mortality ratio

Number of female death due to complication of

pregnancy or within 42 days of delivery
X 100000
=
Number of live births in a same period

= 0/155 x 100000

= 0.0 % per 100000 live births

Under 5 mortality rate

Number of deaths of children under 5 years old

X 1000
= Number of live births in a same period

= 0/155 x 1000

= 0.0 % per 1000 live births

Birth rate

Number of live birth in a year

X 1000
= Total population

= 155/25675 x 1000

= 6.014 births per 1000 people in the population

Estimated Total Fertility rate

= Total Population X 160

= 25675 x 160

= 41,08,000

i.e 4,108 birth per 1000 women

Crude Death rate

Number of deaths in a specific period

X 1000
= Total population

= 32/25675 x 1000

= 1.24 death per 1000 people in the population

Evaluating Bed utilisation ratio

Mean Waiting Time of Patient Mean No. of Patients Bed Utilisation ratio

2-3 minutes per patient 200 OPD 216.67 %

OPD

10-15 IPD

*Bed Utilization Ratio = (Total inpatient days /

Total available bed days) * 100
Average No. of IPD = 13
Total No. of Beds = 6
*Bed Utilization Ratio = (Total inpatient days / Total available bed days) * 100

i.e 13 (average no of IPD x 30)

6 (Total no of Bed x 30 ) x 100

= 390/180 x 100

= 216.6 %

So, the utilization ratio over a month is approximately 216.67%.

Indicating high demand and potential strain
on resources.
Larva Survey
Total houses insepected = 25554 (Every 15 days)
Total Containers inspected = 10220
Number of positive containers = 163 [Feb Month]

House Index = No. of positive houses X 100 = 6.382

No. of house insepected

Container Index = No. of positive container

X 100 = 1.59
No. of container insepected

Breteau Index = No. of positive container X 100 =6.382
