integrity of creation
• we steal from nature when we contribute to
any activity that may harm the

The Tenth Commandment

• Deals with the disordered desires of the


heart, its covetousness, from which
stealing and exploitation of our neighbor
arise
• Focuses on internal attitudes
• Forbids craving for another’s property and
envy at the success of others

TASK: STEWARDSHIP OF CREATION

Rationale:

The seventh commandment Involves respect for the


dignity and integrity of creation. We steal from nature
when we contribute to any activity that may harm the
environment, or when we are indifferent or insensitive to
our duty as stewards of God’s creation. With this, we are
called to live our task as stewards of God’s creation.
Hearing the cry of our shared land we are called to
preserve it by planting a hardwood seedling.

Instruction:
1. Look for a hardwood tree seedling.
2. Gather planting materials.
3. Plant the seedling in your garden or on your farm with your
family or at least one member.
4. Install a tree guard to protect your plant
5. After the planting, say a short prayer.
6. Film the entire thing. The video should be cut down to 2-4
minutes in length.
