Classification of Sandwiches
1. Hot Sandwiches
a. Regular or basic sandwiches- these
types have at least one hot filling
between two slices of bread toasted and
served.
b. Grilled Sandwiches- sandwich with
butter applied on the outside of each
slice of bread and browned on a griddle.
c. Fried Sandwiches- sandwich is
dipped into egg and milk and then fried
on a nonstick pan.
1. Cold Sandwiches
Cold sandwiches are made with pre-
cooked fillings and fresh vegetables.
They are rarely open-face and are
also served cold.
