Web development refers to the creating, building, and maintaining of websites.

It includes aspects such as web design, web publishing, web programming, and
database management. It is the creation of an application that works over the
internet i.e. websites.

There are 3 types namely

1. Front-end development

2. Back-end development

3. Full stack development

 Frontend Development
The part of a website where the user interacts directly is termed as front end. It is
also referred to as the ‘client side’ of the application.
 Backend Development
Backend is the server side of a website. It is part of the website that users cannot see
and interact with. It is the portion of software that does not come in direct contact with
the users. It is used to store and arrange data.
 Full stack development
Full stack development refers to the end-to-end application software development,
including the front end and back end. The front end consists of the user interface, and
the back end takes care of the business logic and application workflows.
Corizo is an edtech platform that helps students with internships, professional
training programs, career guidance, and mentorship. Their aim is to bridge the
gap between formal education and the ever changing requirements of the
industry. We at Corizo bring together the students aiming for successful careers,
knowledge and experience accumulated over the years by our industry experts
to create a holistic learning platform. Our platform helps students discover
programs, and get trained in their fields of interest with the latest market
requirements.
For the Web Devlopment internship, you will need to complete at least 2 tasks
for successful completion of the internship.

An e-commerce site is a website where users buy products through an online platform.
Amazon, eBay, and any online retail store fit under this category.
E-commerce websites actually require quite a bit of back-end development.
For example, managing shopping carts throughout a visitor’s duration on the site (and oftentimes after)
utilizes an impressive amount of data manipulation.
And APIs help users link their payment information securely by connecting the e-commerce site to
financial systems like PayPal
But front-end development is paramount as well. You need front-end development to display goods in a
way that attracts customers and to ensure the site is easily navigable.

Instructions
Social media is all that we are surrounded by in today’s world. There are a lot of social media
apps and websites that we use in our daily lives like Instagram, Facebook, Snapchat, etc. A very
good full-stack project can be developing your own social media app. A social media app/website
is not like a chat application. Here, people can post an image/video/text, and others can
like/dislike, comment, and share them. It is like forming a network of people. This project is a
very good project for the practice of both front-end and back-end.
