● H.Mnjoyan Fine Organic Chemistry Institute

● Institute of Chemical Physics named after A.B.
Nalbandyan, NAS.RA.
Introduction
Introduction to the sections of the institute and its labs the microbiology lab and
biology and the chemistry one and NMR. And introduction about the ACD/Labs
software.
Microbiology Lab: This laboratory houses advanced equipment and technologies
that allow researchers to study the diversity, behavior, and interactions of bacteria,
viruses, and other microorganisms. From studying their impact on human health
and the environment to unlocking their potential in biotechnology and agriculture,
the Microbiology Lab plays a vital role in advancing our understanding of these
tiny yet powerful entities.
At the Chemistry Lab, the quest for new molecules, materials, and chemical
reactions is constant, researchers in this laboratory delve into the intricacies of
organic. Their work encompasses diverse fields, including pharmaceuticals.

Animal Lab
The Elevated Plus Maze (EPM) is a widely used
behavioral test employed to measure anxiety levels
in laboratory animals, particularly rodents. It consists
of a plus-shaped maze elevated off the ground,
typically constructed from Plexiglas or other
transparent materials. The EPM is designed to
exploit the innate aversion of rodents to open and
elevated spaces while simultaneously leveraging
their natural exploratory behavior.

The rodent was injected by nicotine, it was dose
dependant(the dependance was on the weight.)
The rodent might die because of their high immune
system.
Introduction to ACD/Lab's Software:
Complementing the institute's research endeavors, ACD/Lab's software stands as
an indispensable partner in data analysis and interpretation.
Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) Facility:
NMR is an indispensable tool for characterizing compounds, elucidating molecular
interactions, and understanding complex biological systems. The NMR Facility
serves as a critical resource, supporting a wide range of research projects across
multiple disciplines.
In the NMR laboratory, ACD/Lab's software plays a crucial role in automating data
processing and spectral analysis, enabling researchers to quickly identify and
characterize compounds, determine their structures, and study molecular
interactions. This efficiency extends to other laboratories as well, with the software
aiding researchers in the identification and quantification of biological molecules,
analysis of chemical reactions, and predicting chemical properties.
