Australia's culture is strongly influenced by
European colonizers, especially the English, who
strongly influenced local traditions. Also
noteworthy is the aboriginal culture, originating
from the local native population, which is highly
valued in the country's traditions.
 Festival-
Parrtjima
One of the most famous festivals in Australia is Parrtjima - A
Festival in Light. Dedicated entirely to celebrating Aboriginal
culture, Parrtjima aims to spread awareness about the ancient
unexplored Aboriginal art forms with interactive workshops,
incredible installations, screenings, live music and talks. Don’t

 Sports
Australians are very competitive and therefore very involved
in any type of sport. From a young age, whatever sport they
choose, they have the support and support of their parents
and can count on an impeccable infrastructure to practice
and train all the sports you can imagine. See a little more

The results of all this country's investment in sport can be

seen in the results of the last Olympic games. Australia has

 Rugby
The popularity of Rugby is compared to football here in Brazil, as it
is the most played sport in Australia. There are 3 divisions of this
sport: Rugby Union, Australian Rules and Rugby League. The 3 are
very similar, but in fact each modality has a different rule. The
vast majority of Australians call Rugby “Footy”.

There is a best-of-three series known as “State of Origin”, played

between the Maroons, representing Queensland, and the Blues,
representing New South Wales. There is an immense rivalry
between these two teams. This game usually attracts a huge
audience.
