DEFINITION OF READING
Reading is a process that is carried out and used by readers to get
messages, which the writer wants to convey through the medium of
words/written language
Purpose of reading the main goal in reading is to find and obtain
information, including content, understand the meaning of reading,
the meaning is closely related to our purpose, or our intensity in
reading. Here we list some of the important ones:

• Reading for details or facts (reading for details or facts)


• Reading to get main ideas (reading for main ideas)
• Reading to find out the order or arrangement, story organization
(reading for sequence or organization)

knowledge structures.

o The aspect of thinking is the ability to make evaluations of what has been
learned, this ability is different for each individual.

The affective aspect is the aspect relating to the reader's interest in reading
