CONCEPT OF PERCEPTION

•The word perception is derived from the Latin word “perceptio”,

which means “the act of perceiving”.

•The concept of perception has been studied and explored by

philosophers, psychologists, and scientists throughout history.

•Perception is the process of obtaining knowledge of external

objects and events by means of senses.

• Perception is how we understand and interpret the information we
receive through our senses.

• First impression + common sense = perception

• Perception vary from persons to persons. Different people percieve

different thing about the same situation.
