A gadget is a small technological object such as a

device or an appliance that has a particular
function, but is often thought of as a novelty.

Mechanical Gadgets

Clocks, bicycles, and thermometers are amongst the very

large number of gadgets that are mechanical and also
very popular. The invention of mechanical gadgets
though is based more on innovation of the inventor rather
than education.

Product: DeWalt FlexVolt Chainsaw 60V Max

Design: They are available in yellow.

Performance: This chainsaw increased cutting depth to 2,9/16 inches. Batteries are available in 6AH,
9AH, 12AH and 15AH. It has 2456 watts of power.
The saw felt powerful making its initial cuts. It definitely has no issues cutting through 2x lumber and
sheet goods with ease.

Ease of use: DeWalt’s guard action is smooth. The design takes of most cuts extremely well. The
framing doesn’t fully block your sightline. A cutline blower and LED light help to keep the line visible
while you cut. The saw also does a great job of clearing chips out of the way. They have large front
handle design, angle, and distance away from the rear handle.

Extra features: It has 57º max bevel with stops at 22.5º and 45º. It also has durable construction with a
single piece cell holder.

Overall opinion: At $229 these chainsaw are really worth the price.

Electronic gadgets are based on transistors and integrated

circuits. Unlike the mechanical gadgets one needs a source
of electric power to use it. The most common electronic
gadgets include transistor radio, television, cell phones and
the quartz watch.

Design: They are available in black, silver, gold, purple

Perfomance: The iPhone 14 Pro features a lot of camera upgrade since the last iphone had
been released. From its pocketable form factor to its sheer horsepower and camera
capabilities, the iPhone 14 Pro crushes anything else that tries to stand against it.

Ease of use: Everything about the iPhone 14 Pro feels incredibly easy to use

Extra features: In December, Apple added the ability to turn off the always on display's
wallpaper and have the screen turn black, which has been transformative.

Overall opinion: I can confidently say that the iPhone 14 Pro is the best phone I’ve ever used,
though I'm disappointed by the battery life. At $100 more, the iPhone 14 Pro Max does check
all of the boxes, including stellar battery life.

Domestic Gadgets

Domestic Gadgets are gadgets that are used for

household needs, beginning with washing machines,
fridges, dishwashers, vacuumcleaners to electronic
toothbrushes and shavers.

circuiting. The voltage is 220Volt 50Hz. The suction power is 18 kPa. They use HEPA filter to filter various
dangerous contaminants contained in our goods, from dust to viruses and bacteria which are sources of disease.

Ease of use: They have a cable 5 meters long, so you can use it to reach long distances. They can clean your
room, even to places that are difficult for you to reach because this bolde vacuum cleaner has a compact, light,
practical and easy to use design. Can suck and filter small particles. Easy to store as it requires little storage
space.

Extra features: They come with 3 cleaning accessories, floor cleaner, haired brush and pipe. They also come with
a silver stick, so you can use it with handheld or with the stick and the accessories.

Overall opinion: With all performances provided, this vacuum cleaner is really worth to try. The price is only 300
thousand and that is so affordable.

Programmable Gadgets

Programmable Gadgets are gadgets that you can put

instructions (programs) into to make it do a range of
tasks, rather than just one.

Product: Surface Mount Device LED.

Design: This type of lamp has no wires and has a rectangular shape.

Perfomance: LED displays, particularly those using Surface Mount Device (SMD) technology, have
emerged as a popular choice for various applications due to their high efficiency, compact size, and low
power consumption.

Ease of use: In recent years, surface Mount Technology LED lights have revolutionized how people do
things at home, and made it easier for companies to do business. Other SMT uses are through via-hole
versions but not as popular as surface mount.

Extra features: Energy-efficient and have a high contrast ratio. They're also lightweight and durable. In
addition to these advantages, the SMD LED screen offers lifetime color compatibility and optimal
viewing angles. This makes them the ideal choice for industrial devices and light controls.

Overall opinion: Affordable quality, doesn't run out easily when used, makes carrying out activities very
easy. They are also lightweight and durable.

Application Gadgets

Computer programs that provide services without

needing an independent application to be launched
for each one, but instead run in an environment that
manages multiple gadgets.

Product: Windows 11 (26 September 2023)

Design: The Windows 11 Operating system is an upgrade to its predecessor with a more consistent design,
centered Taskbar, rounded window corners, and translucent textures.

Perfomance: Windows 11 runs all the same applications that Windows 10 can run, but Windows 11 does have
some optimizations over Windows 10 that make it run smoother and more reliably, allowing it to run more
demanding programs.

Ease of use: Upgrading from Windows 10 to Windows 11, it does take time to get used to the new layout.
However most of the user interface is very intuitive, and it comes with an "Ease of Access" feature which can
help you use your computer even if you have visual impairments using a magnifier or a narrator.

Extra features: This new operating system introduces several new innovations. One of them being Copilot, a
generative AI tool which can help you do anything from summarizing long documents to writing cover letters to
generating a unique image. Windows 11 also gets background blur in photos, and content adaptative brightness.

Overall opinion: Windows 11 is a step up compared to Windows 10 with it's new user interface, new tools, and
even the integration of generative AI.
