BASED ON PERFORMANCE”

 INTRODUCTION
 IPL is one of the prestigious cricket tournament
held on international scale. It is also the first
richest cricket league in the world.
 Players who perform consistently also acquire
high values in auction as well as players which
are retained by their respective franchises.
 IPL generates huge amounts of data which can be
used to accurately evaluate players performance
which affects winning of team.
OBJECTIVES-
 To study and know how performance of players affect the team to
win matches as well as tournament which player is consistent.
 Conduct data analysis to find out which players will make the team
win.
 To analyze the process of players selection into auction which
players are given importance and what factors are taken into
consideration.
 To implement Data analysis techniques using Python and Excel to
interpret and visualize different data using visualization tools
and python libraries.
 To conduct analysis on why auction is crucial in selection of players
and to form a successful team that can perform well as well as to
win the tournament and which players are given high price.
RESEARCH AND METHODOLOGY

 It is broadly defined as systematic gathering of

data and information and the process of analysis
for advancement of knowledge in any subject.
Research attempts to find answer via intellectual
and practical questions and through applications
of systematic methods.

 Source of data:
I have used Existing data which is available on
online cricket platforms and collected by my
company which is known as secondary data.

CONCLUSION
 Cricket and technology are working hand in hand which has resulted in
data analytics becoming an integral part of the Indian Premier League.
The teams and the league use data to improve the performance of the
players, provide a more immersive fan experience, and enhance the
overall quality of the game.
 As the technology is expected to evolve, it is likely that data analytics
will continue to play an even more significant role in the IPL and
cricket as a whole. It will be exciting to see what new mechanics are
introduced and how it changes the dynamics of the game.
 While the future might be uncertain, one thing that is for sure is that
the IPL 2023 will be as exciting as ever. With addition of new teams,
players, and technologies, the tournament will be one that we hope for
and more!
LEARNING FROM THE PROJECT -
 Explored the usage of the Python tool framework
in Business Analytics using data analytics activity.
 Learning Django how to use it for analysis and to
visualize the data.
 Learning different libraries of Python like Pandas,
Numpy, Seaborn and how to use them for analysis.
 In this entire project I got a depth view on IPL how
it is important for players to perform well in IPL
and how it helps them in National team.
