Gross Migration: The sum of arrivals and departures in a

occupation groups of OFWs

It was recorded that the 50% of the OFW population in the year 2017-2018
came from the four regions

It was recorded that the 50% of the OFW population in the year 2017-2018
came from the four regions

(24.3%) OFWs worked in Saudi Arabia. Meanwhile, OFWs who worked in


United Arab Emirates comprised 15.7 percent, Hong Kong (6.3%), Kuwait
(5.7%), Taiwan (5.5%) and Qatar (5.2%) were the other popular
destinations of OFWs.
