- Kaoru Ishikawa was a Japanese


organizational theorist and a professor in
the engineering faculty at the university
of Tokyo who has noted for his quality
management innovation.

- He was born on July 13, 1915 and died


April 16, 1989.

- He is considered as the father of


Japanese Quality.

- He obtained his Master’s degree (MSc) in applied


chemistry from the University of Tokyo in 1939.

- Started working as a professor at the University of
