• World system theory. Each theory
has different argument in making in
understand the unequal distribution
of worlds resources.
MODERNIZATION THEORY
• The development of
wealthy nation is attributed
to the correct belief, value
and practice of its people.
CORRECT CULTURE TRAITS INCLUDES

• A willingness to work hard


• To abandon tradition in favor of new
days thingking and doing things
• To adopt future orientation rather than
focused on maintaining present
condition.
THE CADE OF HAITI

• In January 2010 an earthquake with a


magnitude of 7.0 devastated Haiti, as
island rather in the Caribbean and are
of the poorest countries in the world.

dependent on former colonial
countries

the global economy

• It compares wealth economic stability
status and power of countries as whole
by comparing income and productivity
