GOLD EARRINGS
Capturing the essence of a remarkable
encounter in a village, I had the privilege of
portraying a lady whose resilient love for life
remained undiminished, even in the face of
visual impairment. Her unwavering joy and
enthusiasm throughout the painting process
rendered this piece profoundly personal. The
canvas, adorned with the visible imprints of
life's hardships etched in her wrinkles,
portrayed a woman brimming with happiness
and wisdom. It serves as a poignant reminder
that embracing life with such grace offers a
profound understanding of its purpose, urging
us all to adopt a perspective akin to hers.

Whispers -""وهمس
I've dedicated much of my craft to pottery, crafting
numerous pieces such as vases, tiles, bowls etc from
plaster and clay and decorated them by carving and
painting. "Gilded Arabesque" features wooden pieces
adorned with stylized Arabic calligraphy, painted in oil,
and enriched with gold leaf. On the other hand,
"Rosetta" is a series inspired by Mughal art, using red
sandstone hues and adorned with Egyptian hieroglyphs.
This project aimed to blend the artistic elements of both
cultures, creating something novel and intriguing.

Our Professor, Mr. Zarrar Babri, provided us with expert guidance as he led us through a
diverse range of pottery techniques during our recent hands-on sessions. These sessions
encompassed the intricate processes of making, carving, and designing. Here, we share some
behind-the-scenes snapshots capturing the essence of our creative journey in learning how to
craft tiles from clay and plaster. In addition to the pottery techniques, Mr. Babri also imparted
his knowledge on fabric creation, particularly on khadi. Under his guidance, we learned how to
make fabric on khadi, and as part of our final year projects, each of us had the opportunity to
design and craft our own unique scarves. This holistic approach to artistic education has
enriched our skills and provided us with a well-rounded understanding of various creative
processes.

In the realm of design, I often encountered the challenge of generating unique
elements. However, to my delight, the resulting designs consistently exceeded
expectations, earning admiration from both peers and professors, akin to my
other art pieces. Beyond incorporating these designs into pottery and architectural
projects, I extended their presence to screen-painted fabric items like cushions,
tablecloths, curtains and clothing items such as shirts and scarves. This
multifaceted application allowed me to infuse diverse mediums with my distinctive
design aesthetic.
In our institution, architectural design and planning predominantly adhered to manual processes, resulting
in an extensive collection of conceptual drawings, renderings, and modules. Throughout my master's
program, I undertook diverse projects, crafting models ranging from mosques and restaurants to bakeries.
For my final project, I meticulously studied the Islamabad museum, using it as a reference to recreate and
design a museum concept infused with the theme of Mesopotamian civilization. This endeavor allowed me
to combine theoretical knowledge with practical application, showcasing my proficiency in architectural
design.
In addition to my work in
the field of architecture, I
have also engaged in diverse
academic pursuits that
showcase my expertise in
conceptual designs, digital
planning, layouts, and
modular structures. These
academic projects

creative explorations and

architectural projects. At this
stage, I wasn't entirely satisfied
with the results. It made me
realize that to pursue a career
in architecture, I needed to

to improve.
Presenting my final year architecture project, a precisely
designed workspace for an interior designer. The focal point of
this endeavor is the exquisite roof, which stands as a testament
to the dedication and hard work invested. Upon witnessing the
outcome, the realization dawned that every effort expended
was indeed worthwhile.
Throughout my educational journey, I actively engaged in art
and design exhibitions, competitions, and workshops, earning
multiple prizes, shields, and certificates. One of my most
cherished experiences was participating in wall graffiti
competitions. Here are some snapshots from our graffiti
competition, where we painted along the main Islamabad
highway.
VOYAGE
Oil paints and watercolors stand out as my preferred mediums, offering me a profound connection with the artistic
process. The act of painting landscapes and skyscapes using these mediums brings me a sense of peace and joy.
Nature, with its myriad emotions, often compels me to capture its essence. As a photographer, I frequently seize the
moment through my lens, later translating those moments into paintings. Whether using oil paints, watercolors, or
even a quick on-the-spot study with charcoal, each medium becomes a unique conduit for expressing the complex
emotions stirred by nature's beauty. "Golden Horizons" is a collection of oil paintings showcasing the beauty of
sunsets and sunrises, where the warm golden tones meet the tranquil gloominess. Each piece captures the essence of
these fleeting moments, expressing a delicate balance between the brilliance of the sun and the subdued atmosphere.
