 Introduction

• Computer virus is a man made program for

destroying others computers and stealing others
valuable data.
• Some types of computer virus are boot sector, macro
program and stealth virus.
• Virus can corrupt other people’s files and harm
them. -

• They are easily transferrable from 1 computer to

another and can multiply themselves.
 Spreading of computer virus

• Computer viruses can be transferred through

sharing of infected storage device, using pirated
softwares and downloading softwares from
unreliable websites.
 Effects of computer virus

• When a computer is infected from virus,

following effects can be seen
Computer becomes slower than ever.
Some data may be lost.
System data are lost.
Computer lags unnecessarily .
Some files will be missing.
Unusual error messages.
Slow booting of the computer.
 Protection of computer from virus

• In order to protect our computer from virus , we

should follow these steps.
Download antivirus
Put password in computers
Download software from reliable websites
Protect data with backup in regular interval
Do not use pirated software
Be careful while checking mails.
 Conclusion
In this project, I was successful to make a presentation about computer virus with
their effects, protection and introduction . In this project, I tried to include as
many points as possible about the topic of computer virus.
