• EVIDENCE AND CLAIM - 15%


Debaters should provide strong evidence and support for their arguments. This can include citing
relevant research, statistics, expert opinions, or real-life examples to back up their claims.

•LOGICAL REASONING - 25%


Debaters should demonstrate logical reasoning skills by making sound and valid arguments. They shoul
use logical fallacies and avoid making unsupported assertions or relying on emotional appeals.

•REBUTTAL AND COUNTERARGUMENT - 25%

Debaters should effectively address and refute opposing arguments. They should anticipate
counterarguments and provide compelling rebuttals to weaken the opposing side's position.

•COMMUNICATION AND DILEVERY - 15%

Debaters should provide strong evidence and support for their arguments. This can include citing
relevant research, statistics, expert opinions, or real-life examples to back up their claims.

•TEAMWORK AND COLLABORATION - 10%


In team debates, debaters should work collaboratively with their teammates. They should coordinate thei
arguments, build upon each other's points, and present a unified front.
