Lesson 27 - Boyles Law 2
Lesson 27 - Boyles Law 2
A container has a volume of 10.0 L and the gas inside exerts a pressure of 75.0
kPa. If the volume of the container is changed to 2.00 L and the temperature is
kept the same, what is the new pressure exerted by the gas in the container?
EXAMPLE 2
The plunger of a syringe is withdrawn, changing the volume of the
gas from 35.75 cm3 to 83.90 cm3. If the final pressure is calculated to
be 57.4 kPa, what was the initial pressure of the gas, assuming
constant temperature and amount?
