RURAL LIFE

Rural life is living in a rural area, and a rural area or


a countryside is a geographic area that is located
outside towns and cities. Typical rural areas have a
low population density and small settlements.
Agricultural areas and areas with forestry are typically
described as rural, as well as other areas lacking
substantial development.

URBAN LIFE
Urban life is living in the urban area, and the urban area is the
region surrounding by a city. Most inhabitants of urban areas have
non-agricultural jobs. Urban areas are very developed, meaning
there is a density of human structures, such as
houses, commercial buildings, roads, bridges, and railways.

URBAN LIFE

o In city the electricity is plenty you can see a cable in any streets
o In contrast city is known for its huge buildings.
o Unlike in urban life your neighbor is not far from you
o In city you will hear noise everywhere and crowded

o while in province the electricity there is limited.


o In province there are so many animals and ranches that peoples property.
o In rural life, houses is away from each other so if you want to talk to your
neighbor, you have to go outside and go to their house.
o but in province its less noisy and people in there is less crowded

o Using a vehicle for transportation
o Eating 3 times a day and taking a bath everyday
o Need to work to have a money for buying foods
o Having a society that provides the needs of families

RURAL PROS

Privacy – If you live in a big city or a closed-in neighborhood feel like you’re being
watched (mostly when u walk at the street), well in the rural areas u have the freedom and
privacy to do whatever you want without another living soul taking notice.

Distance to the neighbors – If you live in a rural areas, you can enjoy the starry night/
star gazing in peace because there will be no neighbor who can distract you

RURAL PROS

More space to grow your own food –when your living in the rural areas it offers plenty
of space to make a garden,

Friendly peeps – They may be small town, but they’re big heart. This is true of most rural
areas who value friendship, family, and community.

Less stress – Without the outside stimulation of bustling roads, flashing lights, and
constant chatter you’ll find your inner self calm and relaxed. This can improve focus and
mood, making you a better human to live with.

Cleaner air – The air around the city isn’t exactly the cleanest. Thanks to exhaust fumes,
landscaping chemicals, and other metropolis toxins, we’re all breathing in less than stellar
air. Rural living is literally a breath of fresh air.

RURAL CONS

Slow internet and cable services – have slow or interrupted broadband internet. If you
rely on internet for your job or simply can’t live without the best of the best, you may find
rural living unbearable.

Less accessibility to well, everything – Running up to the grocery store may take an
extra 30 minutes. Depending on how close you are to the nearest town, rural living can
make convenience nearly impossible.

Slow emergency response – If you have a heart attack or any other emergency, it can take
the emergency responders a good 20-30 minutes longer to reach you. And we all know in
emergencies, every second counts.

Finding employment – Rural areas aren’t exactly handing out careers. Unless you’re a
farmer, you could find yourself commuting a great distance to collect that paycheck. If
you’re planning on working from home, remember you may have trouble with high-speed
internet so it may not be possible.

Poor education – In rural areas they don’t have the resources or funding to supply the
areas children with the quality education they deserve. Sometimes the school lack of
teachers to teach them.

games and streaming services. Today's childhood also involves
navigating societal norms, educational experiences, family
dynamics, and recreational activities that are prevalent in the current
era. Overall, today's childhood represents the formative years of
children growing up in the 21st century.
DIFFERENCES
1980S:

o Children spent more time playing outdoors.


o Technology was less prevalent.
o Children enjoyed iconic pop culture phenomena of the time.
o Social interaction primarily occurred face-to-face.
o Life was generally simpler.

TODAY:

o Children are more immersed in digital technology.


o The internet provides access to a vast array of information and entertainment.
o Children have a wider range of entertainment options.
