Qno.1 How is the writing that you and your peers are practicing every day by texting, e-
mailing, or instant messaging different from the writing business professionals expect in the
workplace? Will your employer benefit from your informal writing?

• Answer When we are communicating in a casual manner, we’re not


restricted to any of the rule while texting. whereas a written document
may be a deliberate effort that is subject to different rules.
• It is must for a business professional to have remarkable writing skills,
that the mails and memos should be understood by the reader
immediately.
• It can’t be beneficial to write in an informal form, because sometimes it
sounds unpleasant to the other and it is possible that the employer may not
take it seriously.
Qno.2 Name examples that illustrate the nonverbal cues we send by our use of time,
space, or territory. How does our need for personal space or territory, for example, play out
in the new, flexible “anytime, anywhere” workplace?

• Answer We used to communicate nonverbally while moving, reacting,


listening.
• Punctuality, willing to wait and interaction are the examples of how time
is used.
• As we are in the era of wireless internet connections, so we can work from
anywhere at any time.
Qno.3 How are listening skills important to employees, supervisors, and
executives? Who should have the best listening skills?

• Answer In order to better accomplish their tasks, employees need to listen


attentively. Whereas supervisors are responsible for the employees’
performance and betterment, therefore they are also expected to work on
executives plans. So it’s necessary for everyone to be enough active and to
listen attentively.
Qno.4 What arguments could you give for or against the idea that body
language is a science with principles that can be interpreted accurately by
specialists?

• Answer Although certain gestures can clarify, body language is not an


exact science.
• If anything at all, body language is a system. And it can reveal a lot about
a person and their intentions. However, the information may or may not be
accurate.
Qno.5 It is quite natural to favor one’s own country over a foreign one. To
what extent can ethnocentrism and stereotypes be considered normal
reactions, and when do they become destructive and unproductive in the
workplace?
• Answer Ethnocentrism means to take ourself inferior upon others, this
can be sometime considered in normal reactions as it makes significant
degrees of confident and help to recall the societies of their past customs
and traditions.
• It can cause segregation and limits the viewpoints which results in
destructive and unproductive in workplace.
