1. Culture impacts effectiveness of your safeguarding – everyone should be a part of the

solution, including parents & governors
2. Good policies & processes build resilience – to help a learning community to react
better than digital solutions on their own
3. Training of everyone & time – is essential to develop and assess skills for the whole
community and there are no short cuts
4. Bright spots - There are so many simple, effective resources and processes that are
having an impact across phase and sector
5. Safeguarding our communities & data is our ongoing challenge - cybersecurity & its
various solutions are the means by which we achieve this with ongoing training, good
culture, relevant systems and inclusive processes
