Pepper in applying four
different set ups
Introduction of the study
•Vegetables crops require nutrients in various
quantities for growth,development, and production.
•Green pepper is an important vegetable crop in
several countries including Afghanistan.
•Irregular rates and methods of fertilizers
application in green pepper production caused its
yield to decrease (Gulbuddin Gullab et al,2019).
Objectives of the study
General
•to determine the difference of organic and inorganic fertilizer
Specific
• to analyze the effect of the four different treatments applied in green
pepper
•to determine the difference in growth, development, and production of
green pepper through the four different treatments
applied(mean,median,mode,range)
•to investigate and point out the best fertilizer application rate and method
for green pepper growth, development, and production

Location of Experimental Area
• The area of our study is located at the back
of BSA2-AS classroom of the College of
Agriculture , Maddela Quirino
•Each plot has a measure of m.
 Experimental Treatments
Application on each plot:

•T1= 14-14-14 + 46-0-0 •T3= 16-20-0 + 0-0-60

• T2= 16-20-0 • T4= 400g of corn cobbs

EXPERIMENTAL LAYOUT AND
DESIGN
• After preparing the land ,an area of 382.5
square meter was subdivided into 4 blocks . Each
block measured 3m x22.5 m with alleyway of 1m
between blocks . Each block was subdivided into
4 plots , each plot measure 3m x5m with in
alleyway half measure .
SEEDLING PRODUCTION
• After buying the seedlings in our nursery. They were
planted immediately.
•Corn cobbs(T4) was applied right before the 10
seedlings were planted on one plot.
• The remaining 3 plots containing 30 seedlings (1
plot=10 seedlings ) were being applied with the
respective treatments after two weeks the seedlings
being planted.
LAND PREPARATION
• The land was prepared through measuring the
area.
• Weeds were removed through thoroughly
cleaning the area with the use of bolos.
•Each plot was made and levelled with the use
of rake and shovel.
Care and Management of the Plant
• Cultivating. Cultivating the plot was done with the use of
bolo.
• Watering. Watering the plants through the use of sprinkler
and pail and dipper was done as the seedling of green pepper
grows.
• Weeding. The area was weeded as soon as weeds begun to
appear. Weeds were removed through thoroughly cleaning
the area with the use of bolos.
Weeding was done to avoid competition of water nutrient and
sunlight.
