Nature

Why is nature important?

By Carol
What is nature?
• Nature is all the animals, plants,
and other things in the world that
are not made by people, and all
the events and processes that are
not man-made.
Why is nature important
to us?
Nature is important to us because
forests, rivers, oceans and soil provide
us food we eat, and the air we
breathe. There is also many other
reasons as to why we rely on nature
such as our health and happiness.
Why should we care for
our forests?
They purify the air we breathe, filter the
water we drink, and act as an important thing
against climate change. Forests offer a home
to much of the world's array of plants and
animals and provide essential natural
resources.
