SIGNIFICANCE OF THE STUDY
The significance of the study, "The Influence of
Social Support in their Academic Achievements
among grade 12 students in NEHS-SHS" is multi-
faceted and extends to various stakeholders within
the educational community. Here are some key
aspects of its significance:
• Students
• Teachers
• Parents
• Future Researchers
SCOPE AND DELIMITATIONS OF THE STUDY

The study uses quantitative methods but has

limitations such as a small sample size, limited time,
self-reporting bias, and data accuracy issues.
Findings may not apply to other schools, lack long-
term investigation, and may overlook external
factors. Ethical considerations guide data collection,
and resource constraints limit depth. Despite
offering insights, these limitations should be
considered when interpreting results.
RESEARCH DESIGN

Descriptive method/research.
Descriptive research aims to
accurately and systematically
describe a population, situation
or phenomenon.
RESEARCH INSTRUMENT

The researchers used and prepared

surveys and questionnaires as the
instrument for this research.
RESPONDENTS OF THE STUDY

The respondents in this research consist

of students enrolled in the Senior High
School program at NEHS in Cabanatuan
City, Nueva Ecija. The respondents will
be drawn from various Grade 12
Academic track sections, without
restrictions to a specific academic strand.
POPULATION AND SAMPLINGS

The total population size of NEHS - Senior

High School Grade 12 Students based on the
enrollment data during the school year 2023-
2024 was 985. The given margin of error was
5% which resulted to the computed overall
sample size which was 284. The researchers
employed random sampling in this study and
used Slovin's formula.
DATA GATHERING

Researchers will get permission from the School

Principal to distribute surveys to students at
NEHS-Senior High School. Students will be
briefed on the survey process, assured of
anonymity, and their responses kept
confidential. The study will investigate how
social support influence academic performance
for the 2023-2024 school year.
STATISTICAL ANALYSIS

Collected survey data will be organized

systematically and analyzed using quantitative
measures like percentages, frequencies, range,
standard deviation and means. Inferential
statistics, such as Pearson Product Moment
Correlation, will explore relationships between
variables.
