INTRODUCTION
The researchers will undertake to study this
contemporary issue in our society in order to explore
how teenage pregnancy dramatically alters the course
of an individual's life, decipher their struggles, and to
raise awareness regarding their situations to urge a
transformative change and emphatic embracement
with this taboo in our society.

According to the Aklan Gender and Development
Database, the municipality of Tangalan ranked 5th
municipality with the highest cases of teenage
pregnancy in 2016.

An increase in cases was noticeably observed if we
compared it to 2014, placing 10th place. Therefore,
the target locale of this phenomenological study will
be in the municipality of Tangalan, Aklan.

In today's society, teenage pregnancy has become
one of the main prevalent topics and remains as a
significant social issue due to its comprehensive
implications to various aspects of individuals,
families, communities, and society as a whole.

The researchers grasp its vitality to study this timely
relevant issue in order to unravel the complexities of
this challenging stereotype and to be an advocate for
change by raising awareness regarding this issue in
order to widen the horizon of the mind of everyone
for the unspoken thoughts of teenage mothers that
may aid people to decipher and have insights from
their narrative experiences.

The researchers are resolute and determined to forge
an everlasting impact through this phenomenological
study by deciphering and unraveling the complexities
of this stereotype to prompt an optimistic change, an
utter embracement, and give insights to everyone,
especially to young individuals about the impacts of
teenage pregnancy.
 STATEMENT OF THE PROBLEM
This phenomenological study endeavors to unveil the reality of
stigmatizing cases of teenage pregnancy by exploring how it dramatically
transforms all the aspects of an individual's life, understand their
hardships, and to raise awareness regarding their situations to urge a
transformative change and emphatic embracement with this taboo in our
society.
Specifically, it seeks to answer the following questions:

1. What is the demographic profile of the respondents in terms of:

b.) Socioeconomic Status
c.) Birth Order
