• The view from the outside defines the store to the customer, a
customer that has multiple choices of where to shop in the
convenience market.
• Minimal stickers/signs on doors. Review and de clutter.
• Poster locations agreed and kept uniform and minimal (3 is better
than 9)
• No Sellotape
• Open windows wherever possible
• Store design have full suite of signage available to order

• Office and warehouse walls need cleansing of handwritten signs & notices
• Office needs to be clean, organised, clutter free
• Minimal paperwork/files- THINK REFLEXIS!

Printed/Handwritten Notices
• Handwritten or printed notices are usually written out of frustration and can appear
AGGRESSIVE!!!!!- Imagine your first day at work looking at these.
• The spoken word is far more powerful than the written-
• Store managers need to talk to the teams and not communicate via notices.
• Let’s reset & cleanse
Off Shelf- ‘Feed The Eyes’!
• Grocery stacks on plinths (beer stacks ok on floor)
• Bold and inviting
• No small, weak impact stacks, being used to clear residuals-
seek alternative solution wherever possible.
• Correct location
• Always an impulse opportunity- entice your customers!
• Has huge impact on store look and feel.

• AM’s to get close to detail on launch days- commitment needed
• Look Book is a fundamental tool- stores should complete and sign off
• AM’s should carry on visits- sets the tone.

and GE’s.
• All executed is one check….but…is it executed in the right place?
