The invention

of cars
The first car
ever invented
The first stationary gasoline engine developed
by Carl Benz was a one-cylinder two-stroke
unit which ran for the first time on New Year’s
Eve 1879. Benz had so much commercial
success with this engine that he was able to
devote more time to his dream of creating a
lightweight car powered by a gasoline engine,
in which the chassis and engine formed a
single unit.
On January 29, 1886, Carl Benz applied
for a patent for his “vehicle powered by
a gas engine.” The patent – number
37435 – may be regarded as the birth
certificate of the automobile. In July
1886 the newspapers reported on the
first public outing of the three-wheeled
Benz Patent Motor Car, model no. 1.

CONS

• Destruction of natural resources

Natural resources are the gifts of nature, which we should care about. Despite being the most brainy creature on this
planet, we share the maximum part in the destruction of the natural resources available on earth. Making a
car takes a lot of those natural resources.
• Global warming
Either it’s a brand new car or an old car, they both run by consuming fuel and energy. Carbon dioxide and carbon
monoxide are the major constituents in the exhausts released by cars.
• Pollution
Car pollutants create a bad impact of the natural resources like air, water, and soil. It depletes the quality of
these resources very badly.
• Affected human health
Human health is badly affected by the used car emitted particles, like carbon monoxide, hydrocarbons, and
other car pollutants which are considered bad.
• Used cars produce more carbon content
Every product produced comes with an expiry date and using it beyond this time can be very harmful in for the
user.
