I think the Head denied the existence of bullying
at the school to make her seem like she was
better at her job.
 John-William answered this question very well:

• Why do you think the Head told Ross that the

meeting with Mr Dumpton had been
pleasant?
I think the Head told Ross the meeting with Mr
Dumpton was pleasant because she didn’t
want the press to think it’s a bad school.
Rhiannon gave a good amount of detail in her answer:

• What do you think the Head thought of Mr

Dumpton?
I think the Head thought Mr Dumpton was low
class riff-raff and was a discredit to the
community and the school. Therefore, the
incident was his fault as was new and easy to
blame.

What explanation would the Head give for Terry

being killed?
I think the explanation the Head would give for
Terry’s death would be it was an accident and
no-one meant for him to die.
P Janet’s mother, Mrs Clark, doesn’t know about her
daughter’s involvement in Terry’s death.
